Assessment
King of Justice is a fun, well-crafted manga with delightful art and an engaging story. In Grand City, Liberterra, a homeless man by the name of Jaden Theologia is sent to a mountain lake on a commandment from Elohim, the Creator of the Worlds. Jaden’s quest culminates into acquiring new powers — along with a new name — as well as making some possible new friends.
This superhero manga blends the elements of the genre and the medium in a seamless fashion, bringing in elements of the Christian faith without overwhelming the story. The world has plenty of room to grow and expand for future adventures both in terms of worldbuilding and character development. The brevity of this first issue really leaves the reader wanting more, in a good way!

Talk
I am already in love with this series! The artwork is a little simple but holds its own excellently in terms of composition and character design. There were only a few areas where I felt the art was weaker than it could be, but they were few and far between; overall, it looked really, really good. Additionally, the character expressions are hilarious and delightful, able to convey so much of the story without any dialogue. I am super excited to watch this series grow as the artist develops this style more.
I like that the story has this overarching scifi-futuristic aesthetic with just, straight up dinosaurs (which are very well-drawn). It feels a little chaotic, but in all the best ways that manga from Japan tend to be. Actually, the story is giving me some decent Dragon Ball vibes, but with a solid Christian undercurrent that is really exciting to see.
In terms of age appropriateness, I think this story would be great for most kids. There is definitely some action and some blood/bruising, but nothing gory, or concerning. Same goes for any other kind of thing that parents would be on the lookout for. This first issue is super clean, but not at all boring. I think teens and adults would really enjoy it as well!
