Robot Animation Update - 02

It has been an exciting couple of weeks for the robot animation project and we are seeing God's provision at each step. Brannon wrote his first screenplay titled The Test. It's a 15-page short about a robot facing some difficult moral choices in the midst of a robot testing facility. We will use this short to help further develop our pipeline, look, and budget.

A special thank you to George Escobar of Advent Film Group. George has graciously offered us some guidance and encouragement in getting our project moved forward. He has extensive screenplay writing experience as well a background in animation. Awesome combination! Advent has made several award-winning feature films and documentaries and a mission of training and raising up the next generation of Christian filmmakers. 

Attending the ICVM Conference

I will be attending the upcoming International Christian Visual Media (ICVM)  conference in Franklin, TN and am looking forward to starting some new friendships. Look for updates in the coming weeks.

Pipeline & Look Development

Our animation pipeline is based on the real-time pipeline used by Epic Games for the FORTNITE Cinematic Launch Trailer. The trailer provides a good, attainable target for the quality of our animation production.

Epic Games Development Grants Opportunity

We have decided to pursue a development grant from Epic games and are working towards that goal. Epic offers 5K to 50K grants to projects they find worthy including feature animation projects using the Unreal Engine. This would go a long way toward accelerating the project and can provide some means to compensate helpers for their time and effort.

Trailers, Projects, and the Short

We are brainstorming some products and give-aways to go along with our development process. We'd appreciate it if you would drop us a line on our contact form and give us your feedback on theses ideas. 

1. Draw 50 Robots book to coincide with robot character development.

2. A graphic novel based on the animation short.

Help Wanted

I am looking for an Unreal Engine Game developer to discuss Game Development for our project as well as other technical support related to the Unreal Engine.
